Austrian industrial mob, Nachtmahr recently released a video for the track “Keine Lieder,” taken from their new album Verboten!. The full-length was released on November 01st through the Trisol Music Group GmbH record label. Nachtmahr are currently on tour in Europe, with several German dates left to go. Speaking about the track, frontman Thomas Rainer had this to say:
“Keine Lieder” speaks to certain frustrations I have. People are so often fueled by resentment and greed, turning into monsters and resort to methods they would have never thought themselves capable of even imagining to use. From a musical viewpoint we decided to go with a punk-ish attitude and an aggressive shouting vocal style of course not all fueld by our trademark brutal beats and harsh electronics. The perfect soundtrack for the next riot or a revolution! The video was directed by Italian director Carlo Roberti and shot in the underground caverns beneath the eternal city of Rome. It’s a classic tale of the loss of innocence, but with a dark twist that will be revealed in the second part of the video which will be available at the end of November.”
The band are set to hit the road starting today (November 1st) in support of Verboten!, with support from System Noire and Antibody. Remaining tour dates are:
