On the heels of their debut track “Oligarchs,” Miami-based rockers, Monolith (featuring Mike Mangini), have now unveiled their next single, “Mother Martyr.” The official music video for the song was directed by the band’s visual collaborator Guillermo Figueredo. The trio have joined forces to showcase their extensive musical influences that include rock, prog, funk, jazz and Latin music. “Mother Martyr” is a mid-tempo rocker that is a part of a musical universe that Monolith has created. The song is propelled by the unforgettable vocals by “Motley” and Andy Barrow (guitars/vocals) and tells the story of a dancer who leads the double-life of a mother to the patrons of a strip club while balancing motherhood to her young child at the same time.
