Contradicting a previous report, Mike Shinoda clarified a previous statement and says Linkin Park is not seeking a replacement for Chester Bennington at this time. Bennington died in 2017. He tweeted “Lemme clarify a rumor: we are not looking for a new singer, and if it were to happen organically, I’d be open. Seems pretty clear, yet I guess some folks have a hard time understanding.
“I’m not into predicting the future. The future will happen.
“Stop making shit up.”
Shinoda and the band have said at some point they will move forward, but at this time they are not looking for a new singer. Mike also released his first solo album in 2018, Post-Traumatic (Reprise).
