Metallica Teases Anniversary of The Black Album Activities

Metallica will celebrate 30 years of their landmark self-titled album a.k.a. The Black Album on August 8th. As we reported last month, the band has been teasing special events and perhaps a release to commemorate the anniversary, and just dropped a cryptic teaser on social media promising something for the fall. Metallica will headline two nights of two Danny Wimmer Festivals this year, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, leading to speculation that they will perhaps play a full album set at each, maybe even The Black Album. The band previously performed all of the albums live for the 25th anniversary in 2016.
