Metallica’s Lars Ulrich Is Now A Danish Knight

Lars Ulrich has been called a lot of things throughout his career, and today we can add “Sir” to that list. According to Ekstra Bladet, Metallica‘s drummer was knighted in his native Denmark last night. Lars was awarded the Knight’s Cross of The Order Of The Dannebrog, which according to Wikipedia, is “a means of honoring and rewarding the faithful servants of the modern Danish state for meritorious civil or military service, for a particular contribution to the arts, sciences or business life or for those working for Danish interests.” Congrats Sir Lars!
