Regarding the new single, MEGG says, “We wrote “The End” about some mental shit I was going through. This song is about the battle between two versions of myself in my head: the fun, happy, stops and smells the flowers kind of girl and this other crazy bitch who tries to tear everything apart. I wanted the music to feel unhinged yet familiar, something we can all scream and dance along to, as I imagine we’ve all felt this way in some capacity. I’m stoked on this one. I made the music video with a good friend of mine, Madison Hedgecock. He’s a brilliant photographer and wanted to take a stab at cinematography and directing, so he came up with the story line, we rounded up some of our best friends to help out and filmed it in like 8 hours. Madison’s friend, Emily Rifkin, edited the video and it’s just such a fun visual commentary on the subject matter of the song. I love working with Madison. He has such a great eye and knows how to capture me, my personality and my band in a very genuine way.

MEGG blends her love for pop music with her punk rock roots to create a fearless sound for the tomboys, loudmouths, romantics, and all the misfits in-between. As one of the first five vocalists to graduate from USC’s Popular Music Performance Program in the Thornton School of Music, MEGG has shared the stage with legends like The Used at Musink and KISS, while headlining iconic LA venues like Saint Rocke. Her career has taken her to prestigious spots like the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Disney Concert Hall, and she’s had the honor of performing the National Anthem at both Dodger Stadium and for LA Galaxy. You might also recognize her from her memorable appearance on NBC’s The Voice. A signed songwriter with Reel Muzik Werks Publishing, MEGG’s voice blends the fiery energy of Hayley Williams and the raw edge of Joan Jett, all wrapped in a nostalgic, early-2000s vibe.
