Veteran modern metallers Machine Head have shared an update from the studio, where they are working on what will become their ninth studio album in their career, expected in 2018. They also played a snippet or a new song. You can watch it below.
The band often gives updates to their fans via their YouTube channel or Robb Flynn’s blog, The General’s Journals. Machine Head are recording at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA, where they created their 2007 masterpiece The Blackening (Roadrunner). Zack Ohren is producing the effort, with input from the band. The new album will be the follow-up to 2014’s Bloodstone & Diamonds which was released via Nuclear Blast.
