Evanescence has released their cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s classic 1970s rock song ‘The Chain’! The song comes from the soundtrack to the game Gears of War 5, from XBOX’s popular “Gears Of War” franchise. The band is in the studio working on a new album for 2020 and has booked a world tour with Within Temptation. Check out the track right now!

Evanescence singer Amy Lee said: “We recorded a cover of FLEETWOOD MAC’s ‘The Chain’ a couple months ago for the ‘Gears 5’ commercial. We loved the song so much that we decided to record a full-length version.”

Lee previously said that she was “proud” to lend her voice to this “reimagining” of “The Chain” for “Gears Of War 5”. “I was drawn to the story of Kait overcoming fear and standing up to fight,” she explained. “Her story of breaking out with her own voice is most definitely one I relate to!”
