In a developing story Ghost Cult is following, Josh Homme, frontman of Queens Of The Stone Age was performing Saturday night at the KROQ Acoustic Christmas show, and he intentionally kicked a concert photographer. That photographer Chelsea Lauren was covering the show for Shutterstock when Homme kicked her in the face, also hitting her camera. After going to the ER in Los Angeles for her injuries, Lauren posted a fan-filmed video of the incident.
Homme shared an initial apology on social media on Sunday.

Homme shared a further apology video last night.
The stage has always been held as a sacred place for bands and artists. At the same time, there is absolutely no room for artists to attack members of the press, including photographers, doing their job which helps bands and the industry succeed. Ghost Cult has photographers all over the world shooting shows on a weekly basis, and we stand with Chelsea Lauren, who was a victim of a thoughtless, senseless and violent act.
