Ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted will perform with his Newsted project for the first time in almost ten years on May 20th, 2023 at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Newsted will be joined at the gig by original Newsted members Jesus Mendez Jr. (Underlord) on drums and Jessie Farnsworth (Underlord) on guitar, along with new guitarist Humberto Perez.  Tickets go on sale Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m.

Newstead recently announced the return of several of his musical projects. He released an EP and a full-length album in 2013. In addition to Metallica Jason was part of Ozzy Osbourne’s touring band for a time and was in Voivoid for several albums and tours.
