Iotunn signed to Metal Blade Records in 2020 and have performed at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, 70,000 Tons of Metal, and Rockwave. Most recently, in 2025, they joined Dark Tranquillity, Soen, and Equilibrium on a European tour.
The band released their first EP, The Wizard Falls, in 2016, followed by their debut album Access All Worlds in 2021. Their latest release, Kinship, is Iotunn‘s second full-length album. It has been praised by the press for its epic and atmospheric sound, complex compositions, and deep lyrical exploration of human nature and relationships. Critics highlight the album as a bold step that cements the band‘s position on the progressive metal scene.
