In a post to social media today, Hatebreed has announced they are postponing their new album indefinitely due to production delays/shutdowns due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This follows last night’s announcement that their spring tour dates are totally canceled. Jamey Jasta commented: “[The] album is postponed indefinitely. I’m told retail + pressing plants in EU & N. America will be closing or are closed already making manufacturering/pre-orders impossible. Our fans buy a lot of vinyl/CDs so the label needs to protect their investment understandably”. Hatebreed is the first major band on a major metal label to postpone a highly anticipated album in 2020. Sadly, we expect more of these. Hatebreed’s next planned tour right now is their European tour with Parkway Drive, now set to take place late in 2020.
Thanx you too, album is postponed indefinitely. I’m told retail + pressing plants in EU & N. America will be closing or are closed already making manufacturering/pre-orders impossible.
