Gus G. has released the official music video for “Dancing With Death,” the third track from his fifth solo album Steel Burner, out now. The single features the powerhouse vocals of Matt Barlow, known for his work with Ashes of Ares and his long tenure with Iced Earth, and marks the Greek guitar virtuoso’s first solo record in five years. Gus G. began rolling out Steel Burner with the instrumental single “Advent” in 2025, followed by “My Premonition” featuring Ronnie Romero, then “Nothing Can Break Me” with Doro Pesch, and the high-speed title track “Steel Burner” ahead of the April album drop. “Dancing With Death” arrived alongside the full release, closing out the campaign with Barlow front and center. Written by both artists, the song drives straight into the dark, inescapable cycle of addiction, pairing one of heavy metal’s most technically precise guitarists with one of the genre’s most commanding voices. Gus G. handled guitar, bass, and programming throughout the album, with Dennis Ward mixing and mastering.
