As a fan of Terry Butler, I had to check out this band and I was not disappointed, old-school Florida death metal vibes.
9. Axioma – Sepsis
Really good auditory experience from beginning to end. Lots of darkness and experimentation. I love it!
8. Misery Index- Complete Control
Misery index never disappoints, they know how to deliver grind and violence at is best.
7. Acephalix – Theothanatology
This Bay Area bulldozer of a band delivers an album full of heaviness and caveman style beats that reminds you what metal is all about, plus Erica rules on bass!
6. Psycroptic – Divine Council
This Australian band has always impressed me with their guitar work and drum intensity. Highly recommended.
5. Meshuggah – Immutable
Swedish Jedis and originators of Djent style metal. Delivered a very powerful album.
4. Krisiun – Amorren Solis

The Brazilian trio power house delivered a new twist on their extreme approach with their war like drum style and extreme riffage.
3. Exhumed – To The Dead
Gore metal at its best, very good production over all, we just did a tour with the masters of Gore to promote this album and these songs are so much fun live!
2. Goatwhore – Angels Hung From The Arches Of Heaven
Blackened death thrash perfected! This album is definitely the pinnacle of their career.
1. Immolation – Acts of God
Masters of darkness and refined old school death metal, bring us a dark and elegant masterpiece. The artwork, lyrics, arrangements, solos, drumming, and production: overall perfection.
