Grief Ritual have just shared the news that their debut album, Collapse, is due to be released on 31st January 2025, via Church Road Records. The new full-length is the follow-up to their self-released debut EP, Spiritual Disease. The band have also dropoed a video for the track “Bile.” Keep reading to watch it find out more.

On their debut album Collapse, the anger, frustration, and disenfranchisement they feel about the UK and the wider world are laid bare. Human extinction, capitalism, genocide, ecocide,and the rise of populist right authoritarianism are explored in garish detail across the record. Collapse has an abundance of riffs, breakdowns and a bass tone fit to tear down the establishment. Dualling vocals from a wide spectrum of extreme metal influences can beheard throughout the record, providing the perfect centerpiece for these eleven tracks of despoticterror.

The band has not only caught the attention of many with their recorded output but they have also been riling up crowds with their explosive live performances. In the band’s short existence they have already made appearances at festivals such as Bloodstock, 2000 Trees, ArcTanGent and Tech Fest. Grief Ritual have also supported Knocked Loose, Terror, Gatecreeper, END, Fuming Mouth, Heriot, Wiegedood, Ithaca, Inter Arma and Pupil Slicer. The band passed their one-hundred-show marker in early 2024 proving their unwavering commitment to their art and the important messages behind it.
