“This song is about being indoctrinated into a cult, and idolizing what kills you,” the band states. “Idolatry is rampant beyond human repair with social media — we now look at people like they’re gods. We idolize money, fame, and beauty more now than we ever have as a society. These idols will lead us to nothing but guilt, shame, and suffering.”

Gore. dropped the If You Do Not Fear Me… EP in late 2025. It followed their Spinefarm debut, the A Bud That Never Blooms EP (2024). Haley Roughton leads the charge in Gore., a band that brings a distinctly feminine perspective to the heavy music scene. Debuted in 2023 with guitarist Alex Reyes, bassist Devin Birchfield, and now drummer Wills Weller, the Texas-based trio quickly made waves with their emotionally raw and unapologetically vulnerable style. Gore. are poised to continue challenging norms and expressing the full spectrum of feminine experience through their powerful sound.
