Punk and Metal legend Hank von Hell, solo artist and formerly of Turbonegro has died. He was 49 years old. No cause of death has been revealed at this time. Hank Von Hell’s death was confirmed in a statement on his social channels. “We are very sad to announce that Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby, also known to the world as Hank von Hell, sadly passed away on November 19th, 2021. We kindly ask for your respect to the family and close friends in this moment of tragedy.” After forming in the late 1980s in Nesodden, Norway, Turbonegro made four albums and toured the world before breaking up in 1998. The band reunited in 2003 and made three more albums before von Hell went solo launching a new band Doctor Midnight and The Mercy Cult and two solo albums under his own name: Egomania, and followed it up with last year’s Dead. Hank von Hell made an appearance on the songΒ “Black Hearse Cadillacβ on the new album by Me And That Man, the band led by Behemoth frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski, which debuted on the day of his passing, today.
