Former Helix guitarist Dan Fawcett has been found murdered in a North London, Ontario park.  Local police have ruled it a homicide, according to a Facebook post from the band. Tributes have started coming to Dan, a well-liked-well-regarded musician and friend. We’ll follow this story and update fans with more news as this develops. RIP Dan. 

So…still in shock concerning the murder of former Helix guitar player Dan Fawcett. Dan played for us arround the year 2000. He was a sweet guy who wouldn’t hurt a fly. Such a shame to die as he did…Presently I know about as much as anyone else that’s been listneing to the news: He was found deceased at a North London, Ontario park and the cops ruled it a homicide. I’ve been talking to friends back home on the phone and they know about as much as I do. Everyone has theories-but that’s all they are-so I’m not going to get into gossip.
