Faetooth Kick Off a US Tour with Iress


Los Angeles doomgaze bands, Faetooth, and Iress, just kicked off a South West US tour, with Faetooth headlining. Faetooth are also gearing up for a new album, whereas Iress are fueled by the momentum of their latest releases and recent tours/festival appearances. Find the remaining dates and more below.

Faetooth, a three-piece doom metal band captivates listeners with their hypnotic, trance-inducing riffs and evocative lyricism that explores themes of self-discovery, nature, and mysticism. Their debut album, Remnants of the Vessel, released in October 2023, solidified their place in the heavy music pantheon, receiving high praise. With this tour, alongside upcoming east coast and UK dates, as well as appearances at Download, Hellfest, and Roadburn Festivals, Faetooth continues to hone their ‘fairy doom’ sound, drawing an ever-growing fanbase with each performance.

Drawing inspiration from dark, yet commanding elements including metal, shoegaze, and slowcore, their music presents a cinematic crescendo that swells with intensity and wanes with sorrow.

Iress formed in the musical crucible of Los Angeles in 2010. Frontwoman Michelle Malley, dubbed “the Adele of Doom” by LA music peers, possesses vocals that range from an enveloping smokey warmth to anguished belting, revealing an emotional depth that arrests with unbelievable restraint and control.
