Ghost Cult is stoked to partner up with San Jose’s Stoner Rock band supreme ZED to debut their new video for their new song ‘Poison Tree’! The track comes from their new album Volume, coming out on July 26th via Ripple Music. The track is sweet and like all of ZED’s videos, the clip is inventive and brain-warping! Check it out right now!
ZED’s Mark Aceves commented:
“The song ‘Poison Tree’ is basically about addiction. Being addicted to something that you know is bad for you, whether it’s drugs or the wrong person, and just loving it so much that you know you can’t ever escape it. It’s pretty dysfunctional actually! The music has a kinda sexual feel to it, in fact the working title for it before it had complete lyrics was ‘Strippers’ because we could picture it being played in a strip club, and that’s kind of the direction of the video as well. We wanted to make something that was very provocative and suggestive, yet still artistic, and we feel that we achieved that here.”
