EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Tarah Who? – “Bad Time” (Acoustic)

Explosive artists and activists Tarah Who? have shared a new version of their anthemic track “Bad Time.” Tarah Who? Is a musical force for change, full of gravitas and thought provoking lyrics. The duo is comprised of grunge-punk front-woman Tarah Carpenter, who channels explosive emotionality into rousing anthems alongside drummer/backing vocalist Coralie Hervé. Tarah Who? recently released the video for their new single “Illusion of Freedom” co- produced by Jason Orme (guitarist for Alanis Morissette) and Tarah. This release follows the success of their 2020 EP “64 Women.” This EP was dedicated to 64 women who were detained in an immigration detention center in downtown LA on November 19, 2014 alongside Tarah herself. “Bad TIme (Acoustic)” is another rung on the revolutionary ladder the act is climbing. Check out the track now!

Tarah comments:

“I just got back from our tour in Europe. We were pretty lucky to be able to play in London and in France right before the delta variant. I flew back to LA and caught Jason before he started prepping for his tour with Alanis, Garbage and Lizz Phair! We thought it would be nice to do an acoustic version of one of Tarah Who?’  songs and ‘Bad Time! seemed appropriate. We had a lot of fun, we improvised  on the spot. “Let s add this! or “check out this sound!” Jason has a really old Vox bass guitar that I had been eager for him to use! We finally accomplished that! We are really happy with the results as it is truly a different version of the song, light but groovy! Coralie was still in France so I played the drums and Jason added some mandolin, percussions and 12 string!
