Alien Weaponry has announced that the original bassist Ethan Trembath has amicably exited the group to pursue studio work and to spend more time with his family. Replacing Ethan in the band is Turanga Morgan-Edwards who grew up playing music with the band and shares Maori ancestry with the group. The group shared a video making the announcement and even showed all four musicians recording vocals together in the studio. The thrash/group metal group was a revelation internationally the last few year, earning major touring slots and playing festivals all over the world. The band is expected to release new music in 2021, the follow up to 2018’s Tū full-length and 2019’s EP Blinded, both for Napalm Records. Watch the video below.
