“There’s a lot of music resting idle in the cellar,” Engemann reflects. “This track’s main guitar hook goes back to 2008. It just needed the right context to shine.”
Featuring the dynamic talents of Ragga Ragnars and Buzzsaw. This electrifying track offers a unique fusion of dance EDM and industrial metal. “Diamond Hands” is set to redefine the soundscape of modern music and captivate fans across genres. Merging hard-style EDM with metallic guitar riffs and infectious melodic hooks, “Diamond Hands” is designed to ignite both the club scene and live performances. The track features the incredible guitar work of Derek Engemann, renowned for his contributions to Scour and as a former bassist for Cattle Decapitation and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals. The collaboration with Ragga Ragnars, best known for her role as Gunnhild on History Channel’s Vikings, adds a compelling vocal dimension that is both fierce and captivating.
The inception of this collaboration began serendipitously at a biohacking conference in Beverly Hills in 2022, where Engemann and Ragnars first crossed paths. Engemann recalls, “I could hear her voice in the track before she even sang,” and the magic of their partnership became clear. The recording journey took them from San Diego to the striking landscapes of Iceland, where the music video was filmed, perfectly reflecting the track’s intensity and cinematic feel. ““Diamond Hands”hits with hard-style EDM energy, melodic hooks, and metallic riffs. Ragga Ragnars’ vocals and Buzzsaw’s production ignite the dance floor and dare you to hold on for dear life.”
