Shocking news as Tim “Herb” Alexander has quit Primus, effective immediately According to a post on social media – Tim has lost his passion for playing. While disappointed, the band respects Tim decision and will carry on without him. For their New Year’s hometown shows in Oakland, the band will create an augmented lineup with Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade. For their show at Tool In The Sand – Danny Carey of Tool will play drums, as the band looks for a new drummer for the 2025 Sessanta tour.
