Doc Coyle and Kyle Konkiel Exit Bad Wolves, Chris Cain Returns with Kevin Creekman

Guitarist Doc Coyle and Bassist Kyle Konkiel have parted ways with their band, Bad Wolves. In a post to his social media, he stated it was amicable, but it was coming for a long while. The band has since been rejoined by original rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (ex-Bury Your Dead). He left in 2022 for personal reasons. The band is also joined by bassist Kevin Creekman (Payton Parish).

Bad Wolves posted: “Thank you for everything, Doc and Kyle – we love you and wish you all the best! To our Wolfpack, please join us in welcoming our new bassist Kevin Creekman (Payton Perish) and a warm welcome back to Chris Cain.”

Bad Wolves formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2017. They initially gained fame with their first single, a cover of the Cranberries’ 1994 hit “Zombie.” The band continued to achieve success with several songs that topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, including “Remember When,” “Killing Me Slowly,” and “Sober.” They have released four studio albums: Disobey (2018), N.A.T.I.O.N. (2019), Dear Monsters (2021), and Die About It (2023). In January 2021, original lead vocalist Tommy Vext left the band and was replaced by Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz.

Since 2022, Doc has been part of the God Forbid reunion.

At the time of this posting, Kyle Konkiel hasn’t made a public statement. He has been part of Scar the Martyr and In This Moment
