CONCERT REVIEW: Kaleo – D3lta Live at Technopolis

Greece was witness to Iceland’s current music export since Bjork. Kaleo known for their crossover radio hit “Way Down We Go,” they made a stop in Athens, Greece at Technopolis, a former industrial plant which now serves 4000 fans at every show during the summer season, this night being no different, a packed facility.

The Blues Rock band definitely won over the crowd with an entertaining set featuring most of their released singles including “I Can’t Go One Without You,” “Lonely Cowboy,” their first ever single in Icelandic “ Vor í Vaglaskógi,” closing the set with one of their first ever singles “Rock ’n’ Roller” and of course performing their biggest hit of “Way Down We Go.”

The band is currently on tour throughout Europe followed by a U.S. tour promoting their latest studio album Mixed Emotions, released on May 9th.

Opening the show was D3lta, an Anglo-Greek musician with a growing popularity within Greece although having made the decision to move his career to the UK.  Regardless, he was happily received in his home country within Athens, Greece.  D3lta have just released their latest single “Minor Detail” available on all platforms.
