Disturbed celebrated their 25th anniversary of The Sickness (Warner Music) album on tour at TD Garden on March 14th. The tour has not been without controversy after the alleged pyro accident at The United Center for the band’s hometown stop on this tour. Did they burn the banners, or not? No one is sure.
Sevendust electrified the sold-out crowd with a short six-song set! They are one of the best and most consistent live bands ever. The band continues to tour behind their 2023 album Truth Killer (Napalm Records).
Meanwhile, Three Days Grace X2, reunited with Adam Gontier, and also continues to perform with Matt Walst on vocals (ergo the X2 moniker), playing many hits from their long career. They have a new album coming soon with both singers, as well!
Next up, Disturbed! After a quick history video, vocalist David Draimen wheeled out on a hand truck with a Hannibal Lecter mask and straight jacket, performing The Sickness in its entirety, in order complete with plenty of pyro. After playing the entire first album, they had an intermission before returning to play more hits including “Ten Thousand Fists” and their big covers of “Land of Confusion” (Genesis) and “The Sound of Silence” (Simon & Garfunkel). They also brought a fan on stage, Kaylee, “The Light” towards the end of the show. They closed the night with “Inside The Fire!”
