Cheetah Chrome, best known as a founding member of Rocket From The Tombs, The Dead Boys, The Batusis (with Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls) and cofounder of Plowlboy Records, is doing an instore at Waterloo Records in Austin, TX on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

Cheetah explains

“I’m doing a Waterloo in store, and sitting in with the Ghost Wolves at Spanksgiving, possibly one more unannounced show.” Cheetah Chrome is a founding member of Rocket From The Tombs, The Dead Boys and The Batusis (with Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls). His latest release titled, SOLO, is out now.

The Ghost Wolves are Carley (vocals, guitar) and Jonny (drums, vocals). The new album titled, Man, Woman, Beast, is available now on Plowboy Records. The married musicians who both handle vocal duties, take inspiration from delta blues, loud garage rock, and American roots music, creating a unique style they’ve dubbed ‘stomp and roll.’

Plowboy Records is helmed by Eddy Arnold’s grandson Shannon Pollard, Cheetah Chrome (Creative Director/A&R Director), along with professor, author and country music expert Don Cusic. The label was established to promote the legacy of Eddy Arnold and to provide a home for projects that focus on American music regardless of genre.
