Following on from a clutch of well received EPs, Chat Pile released their debut album, God’s Country, in July 2022. The album was highly acclaimed – Pitchfork declared it “terrifying and thrilling in equal measure” as it awarded it Best New Music –  and resonated with music fans globally, propelling them from the status of underground favorites to an international sensation in the months that followed. Since then, the band has released two songs created for the soundtrack of the film Tenkiller, as well as continued touring in North America. Chat Pile is currently working on the follow up full length to God’s Country, due out via The Flenser later this year.
