Enigmatic Tool , Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle front man Maynard James Keenan posted to the Puscifer Facebook today that he had undergone a complete right hip replacement, and it was a success.
Keenan in his post:
Didn’t want to freak anyone out, wanted to wait until out of the woods. Years of foot stomping left me with no cushion in my right hip. Full replacement yesterday. He offered no update on if his surgery will slow the work on the long-awaited new Tool album or the ongoing work on a new Puscifer album, begun earlier this year. Keenan, who holds the rank of purple belt in Brazillian Jujitsu, has been famously stealth-like about his personal life throughout his career. He has however, been a heavy user of social media since forming Puscifer, posting often on Twitter and Instagram from his Puscifer accounts.
