LA based indie rockers, Casino Hearts, have just dropped a cover of the Nirvana classic, “Jesus Doesn’t Want Me For A Sunbeam,” along with a music video. The track appears on A Tribute to Nirvana, The Songs of MTV Unplugged in New York, due out February 07th, on French record label, GM Editions. The album celebrates the 30th anniversary of Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged in New York, with further contributions from Current Joys, Camille Jansen, Brad Stank, Levitation Room, Chris Staples, and Far Caspian. Casino Hearts’ Nick Minor on the track, “When we were going through the tracks on Unplugged this one stood out as a good fit for us. Lyrically it has a sentiment we share and we really liked that it originated from a hymn.”
