Candiria released While They Were Sleeping last month via Metal Blade Records, and as John LaMacchia said in our recent interview, “they put everything into this record,” and the end result is one of my favorite releases of 2016. The guys have, once again, evolved their sound into something amazing, and they’ve just unveiled another video from the impressive record. ‘The Whole World Will Burn’ clip takes you along for the ride of their recent Five Boroughs Tour of New York, and just like the song, it rules. Here’s what bassist Mike McIvor had to say: “The Candiria Five Boroughs Tour was an idea conceived by our team many months before our record came out. We wanted to give a little payback to all of our fans located in the boroughs. They have been traveling to see us for years. So we wanted to go to them this time. And we had an amazing time doing it. The people in these under served markets were so happy and grateful for us coming to them. That it really was an experience the band will cherish forever.”
