Black Sabbath retired from touring back in February after one final hometown show, but the heavy metal icons aren’t done releasing material for fans just yet. In a new interview with Tony Iommi for NBC News, writer Corky Siemaszko states that a live album and film documenting the band’s farewell tour are in the works.
Here’s the full excerpt: “He’s written a piece for the long-running “CSI” television series, and he’s in the process of mixing the sound from the final Sabbath shows in Birmingham for a possible live album. “We’ll actually be doing a documentary,” he said. “My job at the moment is to have a listen to what we’ve done.”
