Black Metal Legends Nordjevel Are On Indefinite Hiatus, All Touring and Festivals Canceled


Norwegian Black Metal legends Nordjevel have gone on indefinite hiatus. The band posted this message to their social media along with a share from their longtime label Indie Recordings. They claim the split is due to unforeseen circumstances, and all future planned touring and festivals for 2025 are now canceled. Among their many dates in 2025, they were due to play Maryland Deathfest 2025. The band had eight releases since 2016, including their Fenrir EP in 2021 and their last full-length Gnavhòl in 2022. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that Nordjevel is on an indefinite hiatus. And It`s with deep regret we have taken the difficult decision to cancel all scheduled touring, and other activities for 2025. We thank you for your support and understanding, and look forward to seeing you on the road again in the future” – Nordjevel.
