There is likely no better feeling than a hometown show for a band. Bad Wolves knows this as they played New Jersey this past weekend, home state to several members of the band. They were joined by Singer Tommy Vext’s mom, and guest shred guitarist Angel Vivaldi for their mega-hit cover of “Zombie”. Watch the performance below.
Tommy Vext commented:
“Tonight will forever go down as one of the greatest moments I’ve ever had on stage when my mother came out to sing ‘Zombie’ with me in front of all of our friends and family at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey. Momma Vext was the lead vocalist in the church choir every Christmas, so you may say it runs in the family.” Vext reflected in an instagram post following the performance. He adds, “I love you mom. You’re everything that is the best in me. Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for teaching me patience and grace under fire. Thank you for reminding me that life is an occasion when we rise to it.”
