Brazillian black metallers Creptum have released a new track, a cover of Depeche Mode‘s classic song ‘Black Celebration’. It comes off of their current EP Reborn in Flames.
Vocalist Tanatos comments:
“The cover of ‘Reborn In Flames’ is directly linked to the concept of ‘Reborn In Darkness’ lyrics, which addresses the cycle of ascension and fall of the star Sirius, the brightest star of the night sky and loaded with symbolism, guiding elements for many ancient civilizations, and the counterpoint with the sun. In the image used on the cover (a real photo released by NASA), you can see a star in the foreground, having its light dazzled by the brightest star that glistens behind in a sky dense and black: Reborn in the dark, reborn in flames…”
