Art Of Shock Share Single and Video for “Drag Me To Hell” – Announce New Album

Hollywood thrash metallers, Art of Shock, have released their new single and accompanying video this week, “Drag Me To Hell”. It comes with an update that they will be unleashing their second album, Shine Black Light on September 08th, through Century Media Records. Keep reading below for the video and more information.

We’ve become the band that we always dreamed about being,” says guitarist/vocalist Art Geezar. “Through successes and disappointments, we’ve never given up or let anything stop us. It wasn’t easy but it’s been worth it – and it feels like things are just beginning.

The band have also shared videos for the tracks “Death Stays Silent,” and “2020v.”

Shine Black Light was produced by fellow San Fernando Valley native Taylor Young (Drain, Suicide Silence), known largely as a band member of boundary-bursting hardcore acts, Twitching Tongues and God’s Hate. The album also features artwork from the legendary metal cover artist, Travis Smith (Opeth, Nevermore).

Shine Black Light takes a massive step beyond the thrashing intensities already synonymous with the speed-limit-shattering quartet from the band’s first album Dark Angeles [2020].

More about Art Of Shock:

Brothers Art (guitar/vocals) and Adrian Geezer (drums) started the band in Mexico City. Inspired by classic thrash and metal bands that became the fuel for their earliest musical endeavors. Their early ambitions and push to get out of their native country brought them to Los Angeles, where they rounded out the band’s lineup with lead guitarist Nick Ertel and bassist Brice Snyder.

Art of Shock have shared stages and tours over the years with some of the biggest bands in the heavy metal genre, including Trivium, Sepultura, Crowbar, Brujeria, Hirax, Sacred Reich, and more.
