“Everybody’s Got a Plan” is the third single from Cursum Perficio, following “It’s for the Kids” in May and “The Edge of Perfection” in July. The track continues to build the picture of an album that sounds like Anthrax firing on all cylinders — heavy, precise, and utterly uncompromising.

Cursum Perficio arrives September 18 via Megaforce Records, the label that released the band’s earliest records back in the Eighties, marking a meaningful full-circle moment. The album is Anthrax‘s first new studio full-length since 2016’s For All Kings, ending a ten-year wait for one of thrash metal’s most beloved and enduring acts.

The video for “Everybody’s Got a Plan” features cinematography by Metal Dave, edited by Adolfo Emmanuel Cappelletti with source editing by Tom Bontempo.

Anthrax are currently in the middle of an extensive 2026 World Tour, supporting heavy metal legends Iron Maiden on select dates of the North American leg of their Run for Your Lives World Tour, alongside solo headline appearances and major fall festival performances. The fall run serves as a massive live rollout for Cursum Perficio, putting the new album in front of some of the biggest crowds of the band’s career.
