Sacramento punks, Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.), are preparing to drop their new album, Bedlam, due out April 21, via the band’s own label imprint, Disappointed Records. Marsullo tragically lost his life in a car accident in 2016. Bedlam was self-produced at Pus Cavern in Sacramento, with engineering by Joe Johnston, known for his work on Platinum records like Cake’s Fashion Nugget and Prolonging the Magic. Mixing and mastering was completed in 2024 at the legendary Blasting Room with Jason Livermore (Descendents, Rise Against, Black Flag, Frenzal Rhomb). The album’s artwork was done by Barcelona’s Joel Abad (NOFX, Pennywise, Mad Caddies). The band has a few shows coming up this spring (see below) and is working on a summer/fall tour.

Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.) are a melodic punk band from Sacramento, CA. Influenced by the Epitaph/Fat Wreck bands of the 90’s, they developed their own sound within the genre and have been making music and playing shows since their formation in 1999. The band was started when Joshua Thompson (vocals) overheard Ross Standley (Guitar) and Casey Marsullo (Bass) talking about starting a band at a high school party. While there hasn’t been an official studio release since 2008’s Relentless, the band always continued forward and has taken their time to ensure the quality of their 4th studio release Bedlam. At their core they are 5 friends who share a passion for the music. They had the honor of releasing an album under Volcom Entertainment (2004’s Hooligan, remastered version released 2022) and playing the entire 2004 and 2005 Warped Tours.

Changes in the music industry and the punk genre saw the band move to an independent approach for 2009’s Relentless, produced by Scott Sheldon (Guttermouth). The band became a 5 piece when they added guitarist/singer Aaron Welch, which brought more depth to the sound and added a layer of vocal harmonies. The band continued to tour with their friends Authority Zero and Guttermouth as well as playing support for the top punk bands coming through Sacramento. Lineup changes saw the addition of drummer Carl Chang and guitarist Alex Stephens who both intensify and round out the overall sound.

Tragically in 2016, founding member/bassist Casey Marsullo lost his life in a car accident. Casey wasn’t just a bassist, he was the captain of the ship, putting the band first and always pushing them forward. While the rest of the band members were crushed, they decided to keep going because that’s what they’ve always done and felt that’s what Casey would have wanted. Fortunately the tracks for the 4th release Bedlam were recorded before Casey’s passing. Joshua and Aaron made the trip to Fort Collins, CO in 2024 to mix and master the album. The long awaited Bedlam represents over a decade of hard work and dedication through thick and thin. The band is happy and grateful to be able to release it to their loyal fanbase and to honor the memory of their band brother Casey Marsullo. Bedlam will be available through the band’s label Disappointed Records on Vinyl (limited run), CD, and Streaming.
