More intriguing news from the UK’s Ritual Festival, who have announced that Southern Lord’s unhinged extremists All Pigs Must Die have been added to a bill that already boasts Ihsahn, Misery Index, The Afternoon Gentlemen, Crepitation, Corrupt Moral Altar, Conjurer, Serpent Venom and Groak.

If that wasn’t enough for you, the festival have also announced that they will be joined by Leeds experimental, noisecore outfit Canvas who will reform especially for the festival. Canvas imploded in 2000, less than a year after their debut album ‘Lost in Rock’ was released, but their influence on the scene never waned with two of the band then forming the progressive 4 piece Humanfly. Now they’re back for a one-off show at Ritual to remind everyone what intelligent, brutal hardcore can and should be.

Ritual Festival takes place on Saturday 8th April 2017 and will be preceded by an official pre-show on the Friday in Leeds at Belgrave Music Hall featuring Bolzer, Fen, The Infernal Sea & Sathamel.
