The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been revealed. Pearl Jam, Journey, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra, Joan Baez and Tupac Shakur will be enshrined into the “Hall” on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2017 Induction Ceremony will again have its television premiere on HBO, and a radio broadcast on SiriusXM. Plus, all of the inductees will be featured in a new exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland beginning on March 30th.

Journey guitarist Neal Schon had this to say: “I kind of feel like we were already in with our fans and the amount of records we’ve sold all over the world. I wasn’t expecting anything at all. I’ve learned to be that way. If you don’t expect something and it comes, then its good news. I’m honored. I think we’re all honored.

YES guitarist Steve Howe added: “What an honor this is for us and all involved with the history of this band. We thank all the YES fans who have been so passionate over the decades, and helped us to keep the flag flying. It is the fans who have constantly demanded our inclusion. They have been heard.

Ticket on-sale dates for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2017 Induction Ceremony will be announced in January. For more details, head to Rockhall.com.
