Canadian label, Artoffact Records, and Finnish electro-industrialists, Cardinal Noire, have just announced that they have joined forces. With the band signing onto the label’s international roster, a new album is in the works, preceded by a planned Summer single. Find more information below.


On joining the Artoffact Records roster, the band comments excitedly:
“Cardinal Noire is thrilled at the prospect of cooperation with Artoffact Records, as many of our influences and artists we look up to release material with the label. We hope to deliver industrial art that is pleasing yet challenging.”

For the uninitiated, Cardinal Noire is a Finnish industrial group who as they like to say, are “Brappin’ out like it’s 1984,” in the tradition of Skinny Puppy, Portion Control, Severed Heads, and the likes. While today’s announcement does not come with new music, fans can look forward to a new single coming this summer and the news that the band is hard at work on their Artoffact debut full-length. Even more, Cardinal Noire’s latest album, Deluge, has been added to the band’s Bandcamp and their self-titled debut album has been souped up with three bonus remixes.
