Watch Slipknot Play Their First Gig With Their New Drummer in A Tiny Bar


Slipknot, one of the biggest headlining Metal bands in the world played a tiny bar in Pioneertown, California as the warm-up to their gig at Sick New World Festival this weekend. The band played at Pappy + Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California near Joshua Tree National Park in San Bernardino County. They wore 1999 themed jumpsuits and masks, and the cost of the show was $9, all to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album. Selling out in 10 minutes, all of the proceeds went to charity. The band also played their first show with their new drummer, rumored to be former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande. Sick New World Festival 2024 Announces Stage Times, Draws Outrage From Fans


Following a huge debut in 2023 year, Sick New World kicks off this weekend to Las Vegas Festival Grounds, on April 27, 2024 with an enormous collection of the world’s biggest hard rock, alternative, and up and coming artists. Headlined by System Of A Down, Slipknot with Bring Me The Horizon, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Danny Elfman, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, and many more among the 65 total bands. The festival has released its stage times and fans who have purchased tickets are expressing outrage on social media with some selling their tickets and vowing not to go. Slipknot is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album in 2024. They are headlining festivals and booked European tour dates to perform their 25th-anniversary playthrough of the album. Now they are teasing something that is “one night only” coming soon. This came in the form of a billboard in California on the site of Coachella (Indio, California), and was discovered by a Redditor. Will they book a stadium show like Korn did in Los Angeles? Warner Music Group Intends to Buy French Digital Music Company Believe SA, Owner of Nuclear Blast Records and Tunecore


One of the largest record labels in the world, Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced it intends to purchase Believe SA, a French digital music company. Among the many companies Believe owns includes a controlling stake in Nuclear Blast Records (acquired in 2018) and its offshoot Blood Blast Distribution, as well as Tunecore a Brooklyn, New York–based digital music distribution, publishing and licensing service founded in 2006. Tunecore distributes music through online retailers such as iTunes, Deezer, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, Beatport. According to the press release you can read below, Warner “would provide Believe with strategic support and financial stability to help the development and growth of the Company, including by accelerating its expansion into new geographies.” Nuclear Blast founded in 1987 in Germany, is home to some of the greatest bands in Metal such as, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, C.O.C., Nightwish, Sepultura, Sabaton, In Flames, Lamb of God (Europe), and countless others.
