CONCERT REVIEW: Jinjer – All Hail The Yeti – Live at The Warsaw


One of the fastest rising bands in the metal scene today, it’s no surprise that fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Jinjer to the United States, supporting their recent album Wallflowers (Napalm Records – read our review here). Having sold out numerous shows on their tour with Suicide Silence and All Hail The Yeti, it was incredibly exciting to see what this team could deliver during their stop at The Warsaw in Brooklyn.

Death Valley High Line Up West Coast, European Tour Dates

Death Valley High, the Bay Area band combining influences from Rock, to New Wave, hardcore punk, and Goth metal have announced a spate of warmup gigs on the West Coast of the US supporting Limnus. The band is usingthese dates as a launching pad for their October tour of Central and Western Europe with Sonic Syndicate, followed by UK dates with Trapt. The band was recently seen opening a tour for Crosses (†††). The band continues to tour behind their Positive Euth album (Minus Head).

Bay Area alt rockers Death Valley High will be doing a brief warm up run of West Coast dates supporting Limnus in early October, prior to their upcoming tours supporting Sonic Syndicate (in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Czech Republic) in October, and UK tour supporting Trapt in November.

With D.R.I. functioning as a touring band only, mouth Kurt Brecht along with three of Texan thrashers Dead Horse and Bubba from Verbal Abuse have been bashing away at it since 2008 and written a mind-blowing thirteen tracks in just five years, five of which appeared on an EP released in 2010. Opener ‘100 Beers With A Zombie’ is fun, its simple riffs and comedic lyrics more a chuckle than a belly laugh, the same for ‘Bleached Blonde Despair’ and ‘Cemetery Mass’.Continue reading
