One of the best music festivals we have ever covered is the Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, Norway! The 2023 festival has made its first band announcement! Cannibal Corpse, Odium, Harakiri for the Sky, Djevel, Nekromantheon, Darvaza, Nervosa, Lili Refrain, Svalbard, Dwaal and Mutilated Tyrant will all paly the fest with many more bands to be announced between now and next spring. Ghost Cult is stoked to bring you the new stand-alone single from Age of Woe’s, “Gospel of Lies”. This is the veteran band’s first new music since their 2016’s An Ill WInd Blowing and kicks off the next chapter in the bands’ history. The death – doom – progressive – sludge band has been gaining steam over the last few years. The band has performed at vanguard metal festivals such as Inferno Metal Festival, Incubate Festival, SWR Barroselas Metalfest, Berlin Swamp Fest, Bloodshed Fest, and Scorched Tundra. “Gospel of Lies” is also the first new song with Keijo Niinimaa (Rotten Sound / Morbid Evils / Goatburner). Swedish death metal supergroup Bloodbath is confirmed to as a new headliner at Inferno Metal Festival 2019, Opeth and Dimmu Borgir. Finnish black metal greats Impaled Nazarene and UK sludge/doom band DVNE have been added to Inferno Festival 2019. Progressive metal giants Opeth have booked a special appearance at Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, NO in 2019. The festival recently announced such esteemed extreme metal bands as Dimmu Borgir, The Black Dahlia Murder, Taake, 1349 and many more. More bands will be announced soon. Check out the full line-up so far below. Opeth will release Garden of the Titans: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on November 2nd via Moderbolaget Records / Nuclear Blast Entertainment. This historic event was captured for the DVD, Blu-Ray and Vinyl formats during their performance May 11th, 2017 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO. Both the DVD and Blu-ray formats include CDs containing the audio as well.
