Metallica has shared to social media that the band has surpassed 1 Billion streams on Spotify. Arguably the most important and successful Metal band of all time, Metallica was founded in 1981 by Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield in Los Angeles, California, before relocating the band to San Francisco.
