Earlier this year, Lucy Dacus performed a selection of songs from her latest album, Forever Is A Feeling in the National Gallery of Ireland. The show, including a duet with Hozier on their track “Bullseye,” was captured by Irish music show, Other Voices, as a short music film, also featuring a never-before-seen conversation about how the song came to life. Watch the film below and find out more.

Lucy Dacus says: “Forever grateful to Hozier, and thankful to the National Gallery of Ireland. I can’t believe they let us sing in there, it felt like getting away with something you’d dream up as a child.”
Philip King, founder of Other Voices says: “It was a remarkable occasion. Two of the world’s most gifted creative artists Hozier and Lucy Dacus raising their voices to sing together in sweet harmony. They bonded over Lucy’s work and delivered a magical musical conversation in the sublime setting of The National Gallery of Ireland in the heart of Dublin. There’s something profoundly moving about witnessing a creative connection like that unfold in a space that holds so much of our national story. It was a true honour to capture it.”
This intimate session marks Lucy’s debut with the iconic Other Voices show, and follows two previous cherished appearances from Hozier over the years. Filmed in the Gallery’s historic Shaw Room, against the backdrop of generations of Irish portraiture, this resonant performance offers a powerful showcase of Lucy Dacus’ vital songwriting talents. Produced by Other Voices, in partnership with Universal Music, the full session is available to stream now on the Other Voices YouTube channel, where it will remain for the next 30 days.
Currently on tour of Europe, Lucy returns to North America later this month for more shows. Support comes from Hop Along, Jay Som, Julia Jacklin, Slow Pulp on various shows. All tour details at https://www.lucydac.us/tour/#/

About Other Voices:
Other Voices started as a one-off music event in a small church in Dingle, a small fishing village in the west of Ireland and over the last 23 years the idea has grown. Other Voices is now an established fixture in the musical calendar – a ‘must attend’ event for performers and audiences alike. It has led to the creation of an international music TV series and, in turn, a global cultural movement celebrating local stories on an international scale.
