Houston-born and Los Angeles-based rock artist De’Wayne’s released his highly anticipated third studio album June via Fearless Records. Tonight, he will be celebrating the record with a public album release show at the Viper Room in Los Angeles. Along with the release, he put out a visualizer for a standout track on the record “forever” (feat. iDKHOW) which is available to stream now.

This song is the climactic scene in the record where characters finally come together and everything feels like magic. It’s that beautiful, cinematic release that hopeless romantics dream about capturing a fun moment of pure joy and connection. This is the second collaboration De’Wayne has done with Dallon Weekes from iDKHOW. Jason Suwito and Pat Morrissey helped to produce it alongside his right-hand Dylan Bauld (formerly flor). It was co-written by Emma Rosen,

“There was one thing missing from this album — a song everyone could break into a dance to, I wanted the breakdown to feel BIG. To get inspired I put on Bowie on repeat; this is truly my first attempt at a song like this. I made it for me and June to dance to and remember this time in our lives. And I hope fans can feel that energy, replay it on every dance break, every moment that needs light,” shares De’Wayne.

While accessing the duality of humanity and harnessing the divine femininity through music De’Wayne shows no shortage of soul, sex, sweat, and style in this new album. When speaking about the record, De’Wayne added “This is my epic rock love album. I gave everything—blood, sweat, tears, love, sex, spirituality, and truth. Every song was a surrender, and June is the light guiding it all. I wanted to reframe vulnerability as a superpower, not a weakness, and use this record to show my evolution—not just as an artist, but as a human being. I believe this will stand as one of the most powerful rock albums of the year!”

This release follows several singles that have received an outpouring of support throughout the year, including the deeply personal track “sundays,” the title track “june,” the instinctive love song “biological” and the electric anthem “highway robbery.” These songs establish De’Wayne as a fearless trailblazer in rock, fusing genres with raw authenticity.

Beyond headlining packed shows on multiple continents, De’Wayne and his band have ignited festival stages at Gov Ball, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, Bonnaroo, BottleRock, this year’s 101.5 Coachella kick-off party, and Vans Warped Tour Long Beach. He was on tour earlier this summer with Red Leather and just announced fall tour dates with the rapper Duckwrth. Tickets for those fall dates are on sale now at the LINK HERE.

About De’Wayne:

Shedding any and all creative inhibitions, De’Wayne plays rock ‘n’ roll spiked with funk, R&B, alternative, and magic.

Emerging in 2017, the Houston-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer has amassed tens of millions of streams across STAINS [2021], My Favorite Blue Jeans [2022], and I WANT YOU MORE THAN ANYBODY WANTS YOU EP [2024].

In the wake of the latter, UPSET placed him on its cover and urged, “it’s time to sit up and pay attention” to De’Wayne. KERRANG! went as far as to christen him “one of the most electrifying new performers in the alt. world today.” He has established himself as the rare force of nature equally comfortable on a track with either Chase Atlantic and Masego, IDKHOW, Waterparks, grandson, WILLOW, Good Charlotte, and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.

His music may have brought him close to the divine feminine in the past, but he finally learned how to open his eyes and gently embrace it—which is exactly what he does on his new music. Inspired by Lenny Kravitz, Parliament Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Ohio Players, Bill Withers, Nina Simone, Prince, Brandon Flowers, and Bruce Springsteen, he levels up as a proud black man, a son, a friend, a leader, an artist, and lover.
