Corrections House Issues Roadside Missive, Tour Dates

Corrections House minister of propaganda, Seward Fairbury, has issued the following roadside missive.

“The people of this country are lazy asses who want to sit around and believe the fear and lies that their TVs bring into their homes every night. Although the attendance has averaged around 200 people per night, on more than one night of this tour the turnout to our gigs was affected adversely by the fear-mongering in the press surrounding CORRECTIONS HOUSE. The boys have expressed to me their pleasure in getting out of the Northeast and Midwest and heading to the soul of America in the South and the Wild West were people are traditionally freer in their minds. CORRECTIONS HOUSE brings a very unique and intense performance to the stage every night and we look forward the last eight days of this journey. Step forward Americans, embrace the horror with clear hearts and open arms.”

In conjunction with the tour, CORRECTIONS HOUSE has released Writing History In Advance, a devious testament of sonic decomposition recorded live in Los Angeles earlier this year, out via War Crime Recordings.

CORRECTIONS HOUSE features Fairbury alongside sound conspirators Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Bruce Lamont (Yakuza) and Sanford Parker (Minsk). The collective released their Last City Zero debut full-length via Neurot Recordings last year. Produced by Parker at Electrical Audio, Soma Studios, 60 Psycho Hum and Nodferatu’s Lair, Last City Zero is the audio end product of government conspiracies, societal ruin and psychological decay. The collective recently put the finishing touches on their forthcoming new full-length, set for release sometime in 2015. Further info to be revealed as it develops. Until then, suffer.
