Rock N Roll Hall of Fame band The Red Hot Chili Peppers have always been synonymous with their home in Los Angeles. Now they are helping welcome the NFL‘s Los Angeles Rams franchise back to the area with their first home game this Sunday, September 18th as they return to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum against the Seattle Seahawks.
Chili Peppers bassist Flea commented:
“Since I was a little boy, I’ve taken joy in the beauty of the Rams. When I moved to Los Angeles in 1972, I was getting uprooted from my home and I thought, ‘Well, where I’m going they’ve got the Rams. It’s going to be all right,'”
The Chili’s continue to tour behind their recent album The Getaway (Warner Bros), and have dates planned throughout 2017. The Getaway debuted June 17 and was produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Nigel Goodrich.
